Dr Anthony Lynham

Dr Lynham completed his surgical training in maxillofacial surgery here in Queensland. A Fellowship visit to Switzerland enabled him to gain further experience in this fascinating surgical field.
The practice includes dento-alveolar surgery, dental implants, wisdom teeth, facial trauma and reconstruction, sleep apnoea surgery, orthognathic surgery,bone grafting and oro-facial pathology. He has a special interest in orbital surgery and post traumatic facial reconstructive surgery.
He presently is a consultant at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Mater Private Hospitals. He also practices at Sunnybank Hospital.
He holds academic posts as Adjunct Professor at the Queensland University of Technology and is a Senior Lecturer at the University Of Queensland School of Medicine.
He has published widely and speaks here and overseas at many surgical conferences.
He is a finals examiner for Maxillofacial Surgery and holds many committee positions here in Queensland, Australia and overseas.
His wife would have liked to have married someone more attractive.

Dr Nikolarakos is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon practicing all areas of this specialty encompassing problems involving the teeth, jaws and face. He has also sub-specialised in the fields of Cancer Surgery and Facial Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr Nikolarakos completed his dental and medical qualifications in Melbourne and Adelaide and his higher surgical training in South Australia. He spent 2 years expanding his skills in the treatment of head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery in fellowships in Portland in the United States, and London in the United Kingdom.
Following this, he was appointed for a further two years as a specialist surgeon in one of the busiest teaching and level 1 trauma hospitals in London. There he developed expertise in the management of severe facial trauma, benign and malignant diseases of the Head and Neck and microvascular free-flap reconstruction. He is now a staff specialist at the Gold Coast Hospital and a core member of the Multidisciplinary Team treating patients with cancers affecting the Head and Neck region.
Dr Nikolarakos is a full specialist fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He is a member of both the Australian & New Zealand Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Australian Head and Neck Cancer Society. He has authored 2 chapters published in surgical textbooks as well as numerous journal articles. He contributes to the undergraduate teaching of dental and medical students and supervises the training of future specialist doctors.
Dr Nikolarakos has devoted considerable time providing care for underprivileged communities. In India he worked as a volunteer surgeon in a large cancer unit treating many thousands of disadvantaged patients. In Bangladesh, he contributed to the care of patients with severe and advanced disease.
He brings an additional dimension of surgical skills that will enhance the range of treatments we can offer patients. He is a warm, caring and affable surgeon who readily connects with patients and colleagues alike. He has a strong commitment to providing the highest quality of surgical care for both public and private patients.
Dr Nikolarakos is available to consult patients for dentoalveolar conditions, oral or head and neck pathology, skin cancer, salivary gland pathology, facial trauma and orthognathic / facial deformity surgery.
Dr Edward Hsu
BDSc (Hon), MBBS, FRACDS (OMS)
Dr Hsu is a fully qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, obtaining his Dental qualification with honours from the University of Queensland in 1999 and Medical qualification also from the University of Queensland in 2003.
Following advanced surgical training rotating through most of the major hospitals in Queensland, Dr Hsu obtained the qualification of FRACDS (OMS) and is registered as a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with both the Australian Dental Board and the Australian Medical Board. Dr Hsu then completed additional surgical fellowship training in one of the busiest tertiary referral hospitals in London, UK. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australian Medical Association (AMA), as well as the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS).
Dr Hsu is interested in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is always keen to work together with referring colleagues and the patient in achieving the best possible clinical result.
Dr Hsu has a number of public appointments as a Consultant Surgeon in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as private practice. These appointments include at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Ipswich Hospital and the Brisbane Dental Hospitals. He is involved in the teaching of medical and dental students, as well as in the training of future Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Originally born in Tao-Yuen, Taiwan, Dr Hsu immigrated with his parents to Australia in 1986. He has an interest in cricket, tennis and rugby league. Dr Hsu is happily married with one daughter.
